It is to wonder whicht fly has stung the african states over the last two decades. African leaders show a flagrant inability and lack of will to work for the benefit of their peoples. Increasingly put under pressure by their populations, they threw themselves into the arms of the Chinese without thinking, with the sole aim of presenting some results to their peoples in order to stay longer in power. The Chinese know it very well. They offer a credit here, build a road there, offer palace and protection to another despot there again and so on.
But here is the counterpart: Whole ecosystems are destroyed by the Chinese. They take mines of oil, gold, uranium, coltan and so on. They take advantage of these pseudo-contracts to expatriate tens of millions of their compatriots in Black Africa who are even engaged in artisanal mining. They infest the African markets with shoddy goods, false products, thus contributing to increase the bad image of Blacks in the world. The local textile industry no longer exists in any country in Black Africa. All the small trades (small shops and others ...) that the locals once used to do are invaded by the Chinese. The rivers are polluted by their pseudo-industries which do not respect any norm. They smuggle in all areas and contribute to the extermination of elephants and rhinos, among others. All this, at the cost of roads and a few houses?
What is difficult to build a road or social housing? Do we need foreigners to do that? Can we entrust the construction of the palaces and offices of those who govern us to foreigners? They will truffer them with microphones and all kinds of remote monitoring devices! And they do it willingly. Black Africa has been able to fight against european colonization and to survive it. But at this rhythm, Black Africa has no chance of surviving the Chinese invasion. Africans from all horizons, get up now! Never say later that you did not know about all these, because effective actions must be taken to correct this course of events.
What should the peoples of Black Africa do, in your opinion, to get out of the clutches of the Chinese?
